Camera Data

The App uses your device's camera to capture facial images for biometric authentication purposes. This includes:

Facial images captured during enrollment and authentication
Facial feature embeddings (mathematical representations of facial features)

            Important: All facial biometric processing is performed locally on your device. Your facial images and raw biometric data are not transmitted to our servers. Facial image snapshots are deleted immediately after processing is complete.
        

Network Data

The App requires internet access for the following purposes:

Downloading required application resources, models, and updates
Communicating with authentication servers when required
Syncing authentication status with backend services

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Verify your identity during authentication attempts

All biometric authentication is performed entirely on your device, locally, without sending biometric-related data to external servers.

3. Data Storage and Security

We take the security of your biometric data seriously:

Local Processing: Facial recognition and biometric extraction are performed entirely on your device
Secure Storage: Any stored biometric templates are encrypted using industry-standard encryption
No Cloud Upload: Raw facial images are not uploaded to cloud servers
Device Security: Biometric data is protected by your device's security features

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal biometric information to third parties.

            Privacy-first by design: Neuma is a privacy-first identification system. Your confidential information and data — including your facial images, biometric templates, and the information used to verify your identity — is processed entirely on your device and never leaves it. Because we never receive this data, there is nothing for us to share.
        

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: Request information about the data we hold about you
Deletion: Request deletion of your biometric data by uninstalling the App or clearing App data
Revoke Permissions: Revoke camera permissions at any time through your device settings
Opt-out: Stop using the App at any time

6. Age and Eligibility

The App may be used by individuals of all ages. Neuma does not impose age-based eligibility restrictions for use of the App.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
